I fear for North Sunshine going ahead. They’ve been able to survive for so long but with the growth in the Sunshine/Footscray area pretty much non-existent the area is going to die off for football, apart from Sunshine FC. I thought North Sunshine was back on their feet but they’ve just regressed again.

Kudos to their committee they are trying. They have a consultant in behind the scenes to help with strategy and to strengthen the club for future success. Pretty good initiative.

They have netball, women’s footy and under 9s now just need to get their men’s footy side back on track.

They had something like 80 players play men’s footy there last year so they can get players. If they keep the good people and move on the deadbeats they’ll be able to attract the good players again. By all reports that has already started. Hope their efforts turn into success in years to come.

Went down to Lavo v Tarneit on Saturday and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw big Pig Bell passing the ball off when he was only 5 meters out on the boundary line!!

Also last quarter undisciplined brain fade from a Lavo player was a game changer, 16 points down with a free at the top of the 50 then he gets himself sent off and Tarneit score a goal as a result, probably cost Lavo any chance they had of pulling off a W

Seemed like Lavo had there chances but Tarniet flexed there muscle and shown what 4 quarters of footy takes one quarter and a bloke sent off seem like it hurt Lavo

Not sure of top, but was definitely not at Nth sunshine game.

I think Laverton win this one but its a battle between who can keep their head both were undisciplined against Tarneit. should be an interesting game but Lavo by 4 goals for me.

If that is the case you don't think he would be even considered for next couple of weeks North Sunny and Suns gives him 3 weeks off, get him right for Albanvale and Glenorden.

Your right why risk, him whats that 3 weeks or 4 weeks off, get him right , nothing to be gained playing north and suns they will win both easily. Tarneit need all the bigger players they have as they are a smaller team.

North Sunny can't catch a break, disappointment year after year. Fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong!
