i tipped harton gashi number 15 from flemington to wint bnf for b's he came second by i dont think much, if flemington won a few more games he wudda won it, i reckon hes the best player by far though can play anywhere and dominate

Jason Whitling was best player in the comp by a mile and for him to not even get in the top 3 is a disgrace and i think the voting is jibbed!

Is Whitling eligible for under 18 in 08 and if so with no disrespect to 18bs
being such a good player why wouldnt he play at an A grade club where he could develop and improve further by playing with and against better players.

He played at Western Magpies so he could play with his mates. Werribee VFL obviously thought he was good enough to be on there squad so 2008 should be his test.

There will be 18C's next yr by the look of it. Should have had it this year with the likes of Deer Park, Glenorden, Braybrook, Yarraville/Seddon and Sunshine not posing any threat in the B comp.

he would have only had been given a preseason not a spot on there list !
doubt he would be good enough to play many games

Malcolm Hartshorne will coach Western Magpies again..

The side will be full of 3rd year players. Id expect to be around the mark again next season but im not sure if we will be as strong as the last 2 seasons.

Who will be the stronger sides next season?
Id say the top 5 may not change at all With Altona, Wezz, Western Magpies, West Footscray and Hoppers all again making finals. Its a bit early but they r always the stronger sides in 18B's year after year, one of them may drop out with Albanvale or Parkside making finals
