He looks stupid but willing to watch this space and see where it goes. He has the potential to be a killer heel, could see some heavy hitting matches with Drew and KO in particular.
I think almost that Prichard and Vince will put people they see as stars in almost comedic and goofy gimmicks to see if they have the toughness to stick fat and make it through, and THEN they'll push them as serious talent.

It worked with The Rock.

And yet again the IWC jump to conclusions about Karrion Kross and prematurely say he's finished. Does the helmet look goofy? Yes. But with the new look he's now more marketable than he was without it. I guarantee you that Bruce Prichard saw Kross and thought they could turn him into a modern day Gladiator, and I think it's a good move. He'll sell toys with that look and he'll get it over.

Kross will be fine, it'll be fun watching people squirm when he ends up with a good main roster run.

Yeh he must thrilled getting Hardy chants at him as leaves NXT

If you listen to a lot of people that have been at the top they will actually say the same thing that Vince pushes people to see if they will stick with it. A fair few on the broken skull sessions have said as much.

He also jobs people out sometimes to test how they react to losing.

James Storm in TNA for example back in the day hated losing and would put on a sad face during his entrance.

I mean I get it I guess the problem i have with Kross is that he had a gimmick/act that actually worked in developmental. He comes up to the main roster and it changes completely. Its like why are you deliberating making it so much harder for him to get over? It worked already...maybe let him do his thing on RAW to help improve the product overall?

It would be like promoting a player from the VFL who has played in the forward line and then playing him in the backline in the AFL. You then wonder why he is no good (or in wrestling case why he cant get over). If his act doesn't get over on RAW then by all means put a mask on him, put him in a tag team or whatever.

I just don't understand why you'd make it so much harder for yourself.

Another UFC fighter chimes in.

He's not wrong. WWE is lame. I don't think casual fans would look down on wrestling like this much 20 years ago.

The LED lighting, lack of excitement and sanitisation of WWE has resulted in no casual fans being able to watch it or respect it.

bad timing to release this just after he was fired from WWE... (but it glows!)

Edge or Cena gonna bother turning up to a non-important Smackdown? Or are we too many days out from Wrestlemania (or even Blood Money)..

As I type that, Edge has an “earlier today” promo. You only do them when you’re not there in person, and was probably shot last Saturday after his match

Really poor form to bring out the old timers to just cut promos, do the odd hit from behind (ie Edge) and do main events.

At least wrestle a few in between weeks.
