Really poor form to bring out the old timers to just cut promos, do the odd hit from behind (ie Edge) and do main events.

At least wrestle a few in between weeks.

Pretty sure Edge did a promo when he first returned saying he wouldnt be "that guy" and he'd wrestle weekly like all the other guys in the locker room.
He's been nothing but Mr (big) PPV. Either title shots or major feuds (he's back to title shot according to today pre recorded promo).

The amount of returning guys solely for big PPVs must be crushing the spirit of the top "weekly" guys - I don't ever recall it being this bad.
Goldberg, Edge, Cena, Bork, presumably Rock in 6 months, probably HHH too

Top guys and main event talent shouldn't wrestle on weekly TV most of the time, absolutely not. You save that for the PPV because it makes seeing them wrestle more special.

It's why Reigns works perfectly as champion, he's on the show every week but he's wrestled like 3 times on SD since he came back.

Might be the start of a slow face turn for Seth for the inevitable Reigns fued unless they go a different direction and have him move back to Raw and face off against Lashley.

Be good to get the draft out of the way as they are clearly treading water with a lot of talent.
