It's a bit ****ing stupid to even try and insinuate that you can't follow a team if you're not a local. I mean I don't know you personally Ando, but I'm sure you have some link to Carlton, be it a family link or otherwise, and even if you didn't, you've been following them long enough that any other team would feel wrong to support. I mean half this site follows a Euro soccer team or an American basketball/Football team. I sure as shit wouldn't expect all of them to have actually rocked up to that teams HQ or someshit to verify they want to follow them, like come on.

Well, I was still pretty young, but yes I did go and watch matches. I support them now and go watch them every now and then

Honestly I didn't get any of that from his comment! But I agree, people follow clubs for different things and for me, Carlton as my family supports them, as well as history and you can't not love that monogram (either one ). Exactly, once you show your loyalty then I see no issue with it.
