Re: www.footyjumpers.com

Has it been considered to also do Umpire guernseys throughout history.

Cheers
Rhett

(ps: Mero, yes I was there that night at Docklands. He also said that the cost would be something like 20/30 bucks which surprised everyone)

Btw, rbartlett is who he says he is.

It's not against the rules, if someone says "im so and so" and others don't believe them. Unless it turns to harrassment/abuse. If people don't want to believe others' claims, they don't have to. But let's not resort to harrassment/abuse - either party towards the other.

Play and fight amicably, and keep the board constructive please.

I gave those graphics to the NSM.
Each time I make a little change here and there I think of those graphics.
I got a ticket to the opening which was pretty cool.

No.
No-one follows the umps.
It's said that if they are doing their job properly, no-one notices them.
So I don't.

Re: www.footyjumpers.com

It would be good to see an indication on each graphic as to what year they were worn. The football between the legs would be a great place to put it.

Re: www.footyjumpers.com

Yep, the original photos show the stripes, the copies they got made of them don't.
And the club wanted another jumper supporters would buy, so it had to be different enough than the original Heritage jumpers.
As I understand it, Richmond lost money on these jumpers as they bought more than twice as many for the club shop as they sold.

I barely remember the striped jumper being sold, but the "funnel" got sold a lot more and it was, in my opinion, worse.

Recently RFC's marketing guy emailed fans and I wrote to him regarding the heritage jumpers, suggesting why not run up a few of the past designs like Hawthorn, Brisbane and others are doing... or even auction a few if they're still around in a cupboard at the club. Let's just say it's not a priority but it was worth my asking. :thumbsu:

Re: www.footyjumpers.com

I don't think he puts the year on the footy because he would have to make too many links for each year. Think of the Dees or Collingwood, he would have at least 100 jerseys to put onto one page.

And complicated year arrangements wouldn't fit on one football.

It needs to be remembered that these images are primarily for presentation on Mero's site. It's not necessary to jam every bit of detail into the graphic.

I understand that, but I think the years is probably some of the most important info on the site and it could be entered in using text above the image.

Re: www.footyjumpers.com

Heres an image of a Pie 03 GF jumper from Ebay (auctions finished), pretty good view of the GF logo.

Re: www.footyjumpers.com

Guys, I saved the Photoshop file of the logo and re-opened it to make the jumper smaller. My computer crashed and the Photoshop file is no longer there. Anything I can do?

EDIT: Never mind, worked some magic. Is this better?

Very nice, though the colour scheme may be a little too bright.

Just as an example, I threw this together using the current website colours:
