Duurs has been on the outer for awhile. If footy clubs were high schools Butters, Georgiardis and Rozee are the cool kids, Duursma the nerd. He's been excluded from a lot of things some weren't his choice others were. Didn't go to the US with Boak, Burton, Butters, Rozee and Georgiardis. Doesn't play golf while the others are almost obsessed. Unfortunately when you're injured and not playing good footy all of these things are exaserbated.

Ha! I'm not cheerleading?! You can choose to go full troll and lose all objectivity - I'm not going on that ride. The whole situation is beyond depressing, my options are

1. Watch us lose the first 10 games in a row to see him get the chop
2. Watch him win enough games to survive but not enough to have any finals hope
3. Watch him get us to a prelim only to lose

None of these options are very appealing are they AND ON TOP OF THAT our current admin are likely to replace him with someone worse. So yeah I'm not cheerleading but I'm not going to roll into the swamp of name calling, ridiculing and have we lost yet misery.

Bergman does want more midfield minutes he made that clear and Bergman has been promised more midfield minutes. Can someone explain why everyone wants to be a midfielder? Is it solely a brownlow/more airtime thing?
 
Nobody at this club whose surname isn't Rozee, Butters or Horne-Francis is getting many midfield minutes for the next decade.
 
There's been talk of Georgiardis playing on the wing, thoughts on his capability to do so? I'd always thought of Georgiardis as a possible Jeremy Howe style player (let him jump all over the oppos forwards instead of his own) does he have the endurance for a wing position?

Ive been saying for a while he should be a mid. Has the frame and size to be a mid. If he gets more mid time elsewhere then good luck to him
 
I can only assume that he wants to go to Essendon because that’s where his brother could go, surely not for development or success. If he wants either of those things, and Geelong are keen he should be going there.

If everyone thinks we are as big of a rabble as what gets spoken about on here, what the hell are Essendon?

I mean you don't even need to use high school analogies.

Duursma IS the nerd.

The others are the cool kids.

I remember a video thing with him and Butters and someone brought up Star Wars and Xavier was being rather modest 'yeah I'm a fan' and Butters was all like 'I wish you would stop talking about it' like a bit cheeky but I also I think there was genuine annoyance behind it. How dare a dude talk about something he enjoys.
