My dog got desexed today and he's running around like he's possessed, trying to get the bucket off his head :(
Can you use phenergan on dogs?
Is he a chewer? If he's not normally, it might be worth trying him with the bucket off.
Or you can get him a big bone from your butcher and hope it distracts him for a few days.

Haha he's a menace alright but that's pretty normal with most puppies.

TGR I took the bucket off his head briefly last night but he just wanted to lick the wound. I persisted for a while but there's only so many smacks on the nose that I can give :( Thankfully he's much more calm today :) Fingers crossed it stays that way! :)

What breed is he?

Awesome. Love them, want one. Even if they can be a bit silly.:D

I called him Billy because he's a... (wait for it) Silly Billy!! Lol! He's awesome! Very smart! He learnt to sit and shake hands after two treats :) Even though he's a menace, he does listen. He has yellow/green eyes. So beautiful! :) :hearts:

He's so smart I get to see weekly updates of what hes destroyed in your home! :p

Was going to get one for the family for Christmas, but our poor old Golden Retriever has been diagnosed with cancer and doesn't have too long to live.

I wanted to make his last days with us all about him and not have him have to worry about a little one revving him up.

:p thankfully he hasn't destroyed anything in my home but he has chewed up toilet paper and bills a few times. It's all part of being a pup! :)

Sorry to hear about your Golden. They're such beautiful dogs, I'm sure he's given you a boat load of love over the years he's been in your family.

Awwww sorry to hear that :( Wise decision though!

Billy is 17kg and growing every day and he constantly "harasses" my other dog Belle (Aussie Terrier) who is only 4kg. Belle doesn't take a step back but I do feel sorry for her at times because he just doesn'to leave her alone!! They are the best of friends though :)

When it is time to get a new dog, may I suggest a rescue dog. Both of mine are rescue dogs and I'm so glad they are mine now. They have a great life with lots of love. I'd hate to think what their lives would be like if they weren't mine :( makes me sad :( :(

He's been the centre of our family for 13 awesome years. Our baby before human babies. We'll be devastated when it happens.

It may be cliche' but they truly are mans best friend and he's been mine.:(

Wally was the first pedigree dog I have bought. All my others through life have been rescue dogs. I couldn't walk into the RSPCA and leave without one. Needless to say my wife keeps me on a tight leash.:D

They sure are!!

Having to drive back to Sydney tomorrow with all this rain around. Can't I just have a nice sunny day for what's already a long, tough trip by myself. Grrr.
The weather is telling you not to leave ;)
