I'm not sure about any avenues of compensation available to the poor people who were caught up in the Sydney seige for wanting a hot brew in the morning, but in any case, I don't blame them for trying to get something out of it. Its just media money too - they deserve to be milked for everything. I'd like to see them split anything they earn between them all evenly though. Would hate to think some earned buku dollars while others are just left with horrible memories.

It is disgusting behaviour and spitting in the face of the families of the deceased.

This woman......no, pig...should be forced to get up in front of the families of the dead, tell them she's looking to profit from the tragedy and cop everything which comes her way.

If I survived the siege I'd offer my story for free just to prevent this scumbag from profiting from the story.

It is just about as low as you could possibly go and it makes me feel sick.
