There is so much more action this year because of the super shallow draft but these sound like the certainties to be elsewhere next year.

Is Dea a good kick of the footy?

Dea is too good for VFL. He never seems to get a go at AFL anymore. Our medium defenders in Vlastuin, Bachelor and Grimes have all been pretty consistent this year.

He's not young though. 23/24? He's a nice size and if given a chance at another club could be a solid player. At best though he would probably get picked up as a rookie

Dea is a solid depth player. Probably never anything more. Could see him possibly carving out a career as a Nick Smith type defenderif given a solid run but as tigs2010 said he's not overly blessed with pace. Good luck to him wherever he goes, ripping fella.

Didn't even realise he was looking to move. With Melbourne on the up i thought he'd want to stay.
The Giants offered him $650k and Melbourne pick 6 in the last trade period. Unfortunately it was with about 1hr to go. That set the wheels turning in his head.

I could see the Swans picking up Dea and turning him into a good player.
He dominates VFL but his disposal at AFL lets him down.
Theres a rumour he will quite AFL to join the Police force.

Where do you see him ending up?
To be honest? No idea. Suns, Giants possibly. Could see him at Essendon given their forward line woes. Carlton too. But those two both are unlikely to bring players in by trading.
