More recently there have been some hints dropped regarding some unrest between Sam and the Rocket, perhaps even legal issues? Not sure if anyone else has picked up on this? Lol

Yeah I picked it up they did let slip it was to do with property and possibly Sam providing guarantee on loan

Maybe when they fell out this triggered him to take legal action to try and pull out

I was under the impression that it was a financial issue between Rocket and Don and that Sam maybe got stuck in the middle of it.

I find it interesting that player weight isn't listed for the AFLW players like it is the men. Might be a few embarassing numbers there? What's the reason. What's that thing Sam says, woman want to be equal but not too equal.

One reason I find it hard to watch AFLW is the commentary, they don't point out mistakes by the players, and if they do they'll usually justify it.

I saw a player somehow fumble a regulation take and the commentary was "oh she drops the mark, but it is early in the season, that's to be expected".

Yeah I agree with that sentiment on here. If you want to be treated equally then it is only fair for your game/errors/fitness levels to be critiqued too.

One reason I find it hard to watch AFLW is the commentary, they don't point out mistakes by the players, and if they do they'll usually justify it.

Very similar to how they commentate certain male players. James Hird never made a (onfield) mistake in his life, same with Stevie J. Pendlebury ****s up, yes it does happen but all you get is crickets.

Yep, but to be fair on the boys Mike Sheehan is a vastly experienced astute career journalist and media presenter and depsite Sam's Geelong Grammar education he's often no match for Sheehan's more qualified opinions and balanced views.
Sheehan was also often a good common sense referee with their previous dicussuions on the podcast, piror to him leaving after the fallout from the Winmar incident...
