That's a few times now Sam has said Buddy Franklin is a great footballer but not a 'big game' player.
Interesting assessment of someones career from someone who says they never watch it!
To go with Don saying Franklin has never played a good game against Hawthorn because of a guilty conscience, well he was one of the Swans best players in the GF the season after he left.

I knew he would be good, He was my favourite commentator when he was doing it on channel 7 back in the day. He said it like it was and wasn't backward in calling players soft lolI was disappointed when both Mike and Thomas left, but Don is better value for the obvious, different reasons
Also his Reserve cup commentary with Peter McKenna was pure comedy.

I liked the ones with Jake Ryan the male escort and Mick Warner.
I'm finding recently that I can't get through 2.5 to 3 hours of these guys every week, it gets tiresome and neurotic for me and I have to switch off. So now each week I start with ep3 with the guest interviews.

Yes, he did spin a bit of anti-Carro stuff on that one. I didn't wanna get into a big thing about it on other threads, but Carro's value to her employees can't be compared to that of 2 key footballers in a struggling team

Enjoyed Scot Palmer. A pleasant and good natured bloke that you'd love to have a beer with, because he'd have a million footy stories to tell. One of the good guys.

I wish Don just interviewed Isabelle. I swear his lack of intelligence makes him more inquisitive and ask the right questions. He should have his own interview show, i honestly believe he would be a top tier interviewer. Sam just kept bringing the subject back to smut.
Also i am getting a bit tired of the Trans thing which seems to be Sams only topic every week. Rod needs to step in and give them new topics to discuss

valid points. the trans thing does get tiresome. like anything really. i feel that the outraged (at trans thing) and the counter arguments/people love it, they give each other life.
though i agree with sam to a degree, but also empathise and for those who transgender and must not be bullied for it

I didn't necessarily see it that way. It was Sam who said that for balance, they should also talk about her career working in the prison system, and so he asked her questions about that.

The best thing about this podcast is that Don is too dumb to gaslight Sam. He starts it and does a great job and then he gets confused
