That fine, trustworthy journal, The Australian, has reported Thursday that, along with Hale, Urquhart is being prepared to be moved out. The article further states that North is keener on draft picks than players.

At this time of year, not much can be believed!

The knock on Veszpremi is work rate - and players can often rectify that after a kick up the bum

More than happy to trade for draft picks given where our list is at. None of the players being mentioned would really improve our squad at all. No point in trading out a guy with possible application issues (Urqs) and bringing one in (Vezpremi). Hearing Scotty speak, I don't think he would waste time on blokes who need motivating to play at the highest level.

I'd be disappointed if the report in the Australian is true, however in Scotty and Bryce we trust. They haven't made to may mistakes so far.

Like many here the only one I would like from those up for trade is Veszpremi.

For what I can gather Vez is a highly talented yet strangely unfit player whose application is questioned. Feedback from the Sydney forum stated that the reserves coaches were unhappy that his lack of fitness was effecting their on ground structures during games. Melbourne boy, I get the impression that it could be an issue with homesickness, missing his Hungarian mamma's cooking perhaps.

I wouldn't be against swapping him with Urqus, who lets face it would be facing a make or break season with us, sending him to Utah and flogging him over the summer. Bringing him home and busting his arse could really turn him around and bring out the undoubted talent that he possesses. I believe he went at pick 11 3 years ago? Fits our age group really well too.

Unfortunately Bullies first two picks are gone on Wallis and Libba 2.0, so they're out of the equation. Richmond however...

I understand the Dogs are open to using the Harbrow pick. Given they can lock away Wallis and Libba, they might pay overs with that pick?

Anyways, a three-way deal landing us a pick is what I was thinking.

No major injuries this year or last year. Played the majority of the year in the sydney two's where he and O'dwyer were in the best week in week out. It just seemed as though he was surpassed by guys like Dennis Lane and Rohan.

it has also been reported that shaun grigg has requested a trade.
looked good in the 8 games he played for the blues this year.
can play as a tagger and does manage to get forward and kick a few.
big bodied and quite tall/nimble

i have a feeling that sydney will chase him hard... seems a lot like kennedy, tall and lanky midfielder but quite a hard nut. (just clarifying that i am not rumouring anything it is just a gut feeling i have)

I'd be happy with a straight swap of Urquhart for Vez/Grigg. I know we're apparently only after draft picks but there's nothing wrong with picking up a young bloke with talent who needs a change of scenery.

Grigg would be an awesome pick up, after he come into the carlton side this year he was averaging 20+ possies a game. He was pick 19 a couple of years back and is still only 22. Would be keen to land him but i reckon he will be GC bound.

If he was GC bound you'd think they'd have already signed him as an un-contracted player.

Get Veszpremi. Placing my faith in SLF & TFW and their whispers.

That trade (Urqs for Vez) would work for both clubs. Gav is more suited to the SCG, after thinking about it a bit, and any attitude problems that Veszpremi has would be more than suited out with a return home and a swift kick in the arse from Bon. Can't see him slacking off with our current culture.

He was drafted with Pick 11 (I know, Hale was picked with Pick 7, Powers with pick 10) but I would love to see, as previously mentioned, Vesz and LT crumbing off Petrie is exciting. Might push Campbell out of the team though.
