Rudd's a legend.

Gillard is a stupid ranga who was responsible for Medicare Gold - it was an embarrassment to our nation.

Right up there with the "Rock solid, iron-clad guarantee" on the Medicare safety Net by Abbott? Or do you just gloss over the lies now, given Howard's new mantra of core and non-core promises? I would have thought that "Rock solid" and "Iron-clad" would have indicated a core promise, but in this confusing Howard era of honest dishonesty, nothing would surprise me.

Medicare Gold was far from the worst policy blunder in either Lib or Labor terms, but I think it's actually more about an excuse to dislike Gillard because she's not like your beloved Vanstone, Coonan or Bishop. Mandy's actually a half-decent human being, who has been hemmed into policies that she doesn't agree with to save Ruddock's chicken neck. Convincing actress is the big battleship.

Gillard annoys me, Medicare Gold is just a good example as to why. Please don't tell me you expect this thread to have sound arguments and great reasoning, it's a matter of personal taste, I hate rangas, therefore I have no choice but to hate Gillard.

I don't really, truly, hate anyone on the ALP side - certainly not as much as I pity them, but if there's one thing I can't stand, its bloodnuts.

Future leader IMO. Probably not PM, but could give it a shake if given the chance.

Having known him from my Young Labor days I re-iterate; why is he there other than the fact he is bloody good with a blow dryer

About the only polly i don't like is Bob Brown the nonce.

The reason i could never vote for Labour is because they suck up the unions arses.

Any Labour polly that tells the unions to go get ********ed earns my respect.

And of course the Libs don't suck up to big business or the Yanks or the Poms.........................................................

1. Gough Whitlam - one shudders to think how long the country would have taken to recover from 'Goughanomics' (otherwise known as Khemlaninomics) if he hadn't been turfed. The anniversary of the dismissal each year is always good for a laugh, watching old lefties froth and rage they were hard done by and the landslide defeat of the ALP's almighty at the subsequent election was somehow rigged.
2. Carmen Lawrence - two words - Penny Easton. Shouldn't be in parliament, with blood on her hands. And she has the gall to then be a bleeding left wing nut trying to say how hard down by everyone is under the Coalition. Last time I checked Johnie didn't approve his MP's giving false evidence to parliament and causing a death.
3. Paul Keating - Mr. Political correctness, whilst simultaneously being the most abusive PM in the history of the country. Quite a double there.

Gough also got us out of Vietnam, another of the fine things the Libs got us into with their never ending love of the Yanks. We need another Gough right now to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

My problem with mr Danby is a personal matter, let us say i've had clashes with him and O'Connor over party issues at conference, when i was a member. He has a reputation as a good local MP,i probably dont hate him-we have differing views. He thinks i'm a tosser and i think he's a W@nker.
On Education policy, that is true.He didnt support Latham on private school funding.

Don't mind Danby, he's my federal members aswell.

Dont mention the wars.

BTW the Poms have just clocked up 100 KIA in Iraq. http://www.news24.com/News24/World/Iraq/0,,2-10-1460_1872783,00.html

Day by day I hear the voices rising
Started with a whisper like it did before
Day by day we count the dead and dying
Ship the bodies home while the networks all keep score

Did you hear 'em talkin' 'bout it on the radio
Could your eyes believe the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I've heard it all before
It's like Deja Vu all over again

About time the ALP regained government from these warmongers and brought our troops back home.

My problem with Keating is put down to one thing, he showed a total lack of concern for the poorest people in the community whom were struggling both with Unemployment, a lacking in the Marks to have a Uni education and basically were at the wrong end of his Government.

I'm not saying that he lacked some interesting ideas, and he isn't the worst PM ever, but what I saw in the 1990s was nothing short of the ALP Ratting on the very people it was formed to work for.

I wouldn't call me a Tories,

Yep - the only good thing about Keating was that he made the jobs section in the local paper a lot lighter (Late Show Gag).

Seriously - couldn't stand Keating because the way he endeared himself to the public and like bmwofox said, he showed a lack of concern for the voting public and i believed was a scoundrel (and yes there are scoundrels on the libs side too).

Couldn't stand Carmen Lawrence because of her position on the lady committing suicide - the woman just disgusted me.

Local member here - Duncan (wayne) Kerr - the man has been in power for a long long time and barely says peep until about 4 months before an election (he remains in power due to the lack of options for local voters rather than voting for the silly parties).

BTW - i consider myself a non-deciding voter because neither party has shown me that they are capable of delivering anything at the moment.

And for those ALP supporters out there - the name of this thread is your 3 most hated ALPers, so your defence of people's opinions really aren;t required, nor are your anti-liberal/torrie stances (make your own most 3 hated Libs if you want to do that for gods sake).
