Pretty much finalised because I've almost run out of trades ...

B: Goddard, Lockyer, Fisher, Ellis, Drummond, Grimes, Broughton [Houlihan, Cheney]
C: Ablett, Bartel, Swan, Gibbs, Selwood, Beams [Rich, Muston]
R: Cox, McIntosh [Spencer, Jacobs]
F: Riewoldt, Chapman, Johnson, Didak, Deledio, Pavlich, Sidebottom [Ballantyne, Jurrah]

Yeah, the last player in every position is a bit weak but they will do for now.

Rank: 829
Trades: 3

Traded Higgins for Pav when he was supposed to be out for 6 weeks ... disaster.

Although I want to finish as high as possible, I really TBH don't see myself going to win the car.

Looking back perhaps I would of been in it with a chance had of I not messed up a few of my 50-50 decisions such as: S.Fisher over Lockyer at the start of the season, bringing in Buddy instead of ROK during round 9 trades, also sideways trading Raines to a midpricer instead of downgrading to Cheney and now probably Cox to Sandi, but I can't complain I've been blessed in a few areas and everyone cops these as well so its just a way of DT life.

But yeah I'd rather just finish as high as possible, even if this isn't good enough for the car than rather than go for number one prematurely and run out of trades.

I definitely need to get rid of Skipworth and I'll probably do that to L.Davis despite his high BE as I reckon in my case 20 points are probably worth 11K. I'm going to try and facilitate a Buddy -> SJ/Chapman/Riewoldt trade in about 2-3 weeks time once Beams appears to have peaked and I have a downgrade, he will probably need to reach the high 200s or low 300s before this is possible though. But yeah your definitely right in regards to your maths the_insid3r, it is going to be pretty hard for anyone outside the top 100 to make up the lead. I guess it just depends on how many people in the top 100 have traded prematurely and won't have enough to cover their inevitable injured premiums later on in the season.

Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated! :thumbsu:

And as you also said it depends on your goals I guess but with 6 trades left I would definitely trade out spud Franklin and pick up those 35-50ppg depending on who you put in and the Skippy to Davis upgrade is looking good for another 20ppg so potentially you could be gaining 70ppg which could see you rise up the rankings.
Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season :thumbsu:

Backs: Fisher, Goddard, Newman, Mackie, Hodge, Ellis, Broughton. Grima, Petrenko. - Happy with this:thumbsu:
Mids: Swan, Bartel, Judd, Gibbs, Kornes, Beams. Robinson, Muston. - Fairly happy with this as well, hoping to go Muston-->Ablett soon and have Beams as cover.
Rucks: Cox, Kruezer. Browne, Jacobs. - So so
Fwds: Pavlich, Medhurst, Brennan, Deledio, Didak, Higgins, Nathan Brown. Sidebottom, Ballantyne. - If all these w***ers could stay fit and not get suspended i would be happy.

Got a dilema as well.

3 trades left, 220k in bank.

Was hoping to go Muston-->Ablett but that looks out of the question now, but should still be able to go Beams-->Ablett but i don't know if it would be better to go NGB-->Volt as he sucks...hmmmm

I have "thrown my hands up in the air" so to speak, and am probably just going to trade out the season

After my last 2 upgrades, my team should be

Lockyer, Goddard, Fisher, Enright, Hodge, Mackie, Ellis
Bartel, Swan, Selwood, Kornes, Thompson, Judd
Cox, Mcintosh
Riewoldt (hopefully), S.Johnson, Didak, Pavlich, Deledio, Davey, Franklin (im holding on to him)

Bold players will come in (Bartel and Lockyer next week)
Then ive got to wait for ballantyne and anthony to peak, to get cash, then get riewoldt
Which would leave me with about 2-3 trades, but i dont care

Have a look which combo is likely to give you more points between now and the end of the season; Ablett/NGB or Beams/Riewoldt
