Queen. Can't stand that overblown space opera shite as technically proficient as they all were.
Four good songs and lots and lots of shite.
They are very different genres.
The gap between their best and worst moments is just about the widest in rock history.
The Police can be a bit this way too.

Don't get me wrong, The Police are one of my all-time favourites - as far as commercial artists go, at least. There's always a few "fillers" in there to go with all of their "killers" though.

Harsh to say Queen had 4 good songs. Their first greatest hits album is incredible. The gap between it and their Volume 2 GH is…. Big, though.

I think I really got over Queen when that movie came out (which I enjoyed btw), I mean they're popular on the radio anyway but it went next level around that time, I change the station when they come on now.

Disagree. "Hammer to Fall" is the greatest Queen song Brian May ever wrote. GH2 also had "I Want To Break Free" and "A Kind of Magic", which were as good as anything else they wrote.

Actually Hammer to Fall and I Want To Break Free were quality so fair call. I thought It’s A Kind Of Magic was pretty shite tbh
