I think much to Wosh 's chagrin I rejected a couple of attempts years ago, I think I was just too busy IRL and wasn't in the right mindset for it, but then sometime later on before S30 began in strolled Dingster, his dingaling all swinging about and his 8 pack glistening in the sun and he made a pitch about a new team called the Vampires Millky95 had put together. Anyway I said yes, the league was too threatened by the awesomeness of the Vamps bid and then along came AceAndy and the rest is history...

So both Dingster & AceAndy had a role in your recruitment?

As someone who's never successfully recruited anyone I feel childless

May or may not have played in an exhibition match on the Demons board.
One of us decided to try launching a new team bid, the West Gate Trolls.
The original bid that is. Which didn't get in, so was offered spots from multiple teams.
Wonders were lucky enough to get 2 of the top 3 rated rookies that season (EKA), way back in S14.

Can't remember anyone specifically.

It was us. With I believe help from Marklar but I think Marklar was going to the trolls if they got up so he instead reversed them and they come to the wonders.

I have also come to the conclusion that whilst Golumless found his own way here (to the signup thread) I was the only one actively trying to recruit him to a team to keep him here.

I believe he was a part of the Trolls initial bid back in S12-14ish. So we may even be seen as adoptive parents.

There were a few that ended up joining other clubs. We just liked the look of DJ and WGS so went hard at them to keep them in the league when the Trolls were knocked down by the then admin.

Where was okeydoke7 when the Trolls needed them? He let anyone in the league!

As mentioned in the family tree thread, Agent93 recruited me back in the day.

The funds never cleared though. He’s got until the end of the season before I announce my sudden and unexpected retirement.

I recall we (the Dragons) picked up five or six Vampires that season.
