Left the Justin Townes Earle gig early tonight. He was pissed and below par. His voice was still ok, but he kept losing his tempo on his guitar. He was mumbling and rambling all night.

Seeker Lover Keeper were excellent at Freo Social. Its the first gig I have been to there since it changed from Fly by Night and I really like what has been done there.
Yeh, I saw them there as well. I like what they've done to the place.

I didn't realise he was off the wagon.
He used to manage pretty well when loaded but the last couple of times I saw him he was sober. Didn't catch him this tour.
Sounds pretty disappointing unfortunately.
