Lonsdale London is bringing together Australia’s toughest athletes to celebrate what it means to be a Real Fighter.
Rugby League stars Todd Carney and Paul Gallen, boxing champs Lauren Eagle and Billy Dib, Collingwood tough man Dane Swan and Ironwoman Candice Falzon will assemble to mentor Sydney suburb youths as part of a new partnership with Lonsdale London and the Police-Citizens Youth Clubs (PCYC), the leading youth development organisation in NSW.
The new initiative will see Lonsdale London support PCYC gyms across the state by implementing a bi-yearly coaching clinic. The Lonsdale ambassadors wil be mentoring youths within the local communities in a bid to help them understand the importance of perseverance in order to succeed in life.
Recognised for their fighting spirit and raw talent, the ambassadors will provide mentorship on how to develop the skills and attitude required to succeed in the face of adversity, sharing stories from their own careers.
In addition, the new initiative will see Lonsdale London support PCYC over the next 12 months, by providing boxing and training gear for the benefit of thousands of PCYC members.
