I’ll remember him for his West Coast days.
Won the Brownlow just weeks after his 21st birthday, led his side to a terrific Premiership the following year, and was the spearhead of the most feared midfield setup to take an AFL field in the last 10 years.
An occasionally dirty player on it, but a class act off the field. Intelligent man (scored an ATAR of 96), has great taste in women.
And holds life’s most important values at heart.
I’m sure he’ll continue to enjoy great success as he approaches the next stage of his life.
Only a matter of time until he’s inducted into the Hall of Fame.
