Women’s footy fans have taken to social media to voice their disapproval after Adelaide players were photographed warming up on the ground during an exhibition match at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

While the report from Girls Play Footy indicates the Adelaide players did not interfere with the South Australia v Northern Territory curtain raiser in any way, supporters were still unimpressed by the players’ actions.

‘If such actions were done during an AFL men’s match, security would surely be escorting those individuals from the stadium,’ wrote Peter Holden.
