Rory Lobb has put his name forward for Mark of the Year honours after taking an astonishingly courageous mark in the second quarter against Geelong at Simonds Stadium.

Channeling classic marks by Jonathan Brown and Nick Riewoldt, the young Giant sprinted back with the flight of the ball with no regard for his own safety.
