This weekend the footy world will celebrate Brent Harvey’s VFL/AFL record breaking 427th match.

While many pundits have said they don’t believe the record will ever be bettered, there are actually 22 current AFL players who are ahead of the North Melbourne champ in games played at the same age, with Brad Ebert almost a full year ahead of Boomer.

Obviously the caveat is longevity. Harvey has shown over the last twenty years a remarkable level of hard work and passion for the game, it is going to take another special person to match the little champion’s feat.

What do you reckon? Who is the most likely to catch Boomer? Discuss here.
