Nick Riewoldt has unquestionably been one of the best players of this century; five-time All-Australian, six-time Best & Fairest and four-time St Kilda leading goal kicker are just some of his achievements.
But at age 33 and in his 319th match, he just played his best ever game.
The longest serving St Kilda captain kicked nine goals, one behind, had 21 marks including 12 inside 50s, 15 score involvements and 200 AFL Fantasy points.
Here was some of the reaction from Twitter:
Nick Riewoldt with career high marks (21) and equal career high goals (9)

Not seen it before but 11 marks to a key forward in a quarter of football. Nick Riewoldt giving Sauce hell in Sauce's last game…

Nick Riewoldt Q2: 12 disposals (11 kicks) @ 67%, 11 marks (4 inside 50), 4 inside 50s, 3 goals. Ridiculous. #AFLSaintsLions

Riewoldt now has 20 marks, equalling Sam Gilbert's PB from Round 3, 2010.
One behind club record holder Rex Hunt!
