1. The race for Goal of the Year just heated up considerably. Steven’s epic volley that ended up between the big sticks after being kept in the air by not one but two defensive fists was about as good as they come.

2. North Melbourne’s season is done. They played well above expectations for most of the year but it’s time for Scott to start playing the kids and see who can mix it with the men.
3 Gold Coast are better than we’ve given them credit for. It’s too easy to write this off as a freak win. Dew got the best out of his men yesterday and they can build up to something with him at the helm.
WHAT A FEELING! We’ve beaten the Swans for the first time in club history. 👏👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/9G6Rx99KBI

4. Essendon are still in the hunt for finals. They were too good for Fremantle and likely ended the Dockers’ chance to appear in September. McKernan’s hamstring hurts though. He had been playing less like himself and more like his premiership winning brother in the last month.
5. Former basketballer Hugh Greenwood looks super dangerous up forward. Greenwood kicked 4.3 including two that hit the post and plays with a combination of strength and fearlessness.
FOUR goals now to Hugh Greenwood. We lead by 14 points #weflyasone pic.twitter.com/vGckUEx1J1
