Trade period so far:
Less than ideal. Polec getting poached by North Melbourne meant everything started off on the wrong foot for Port and things haven’t really gotten better. Pittard went for nothing but the Power have a bevy of half-back players and may not miss him.
Port would certainly hope their desired player is still there at pick 6 after what they paid Fremantle to get it.
Also Chad Wingard wants to walk out on the club to Hawthorn who are only offering a late first rounder and half-back Ryan Burton. Probably worth mentioning.
We have released the following statement about Chad Wingard 📰

Fremantle trade #6 and 2019 3rd Round pick for Port Adelaide’s #11, #23, #30 & #49
Picks:
After their trades Port have national draft picks 6, 10, 85, 103
Draft target:
The rumour is that Port moved up the draft to snag South Australian utility Connor Roozee.
Best case scenario:
Chad Wingard reconsiders the move. Port won’t get anywhere near the value he’s worth to them from the Hawks.
