Carlton’s Corey Durdin has been named the Round Nine NAB AFL Rising Star nominee.
Durdin had a career-high 19 disposals and two goals in Sunday’s 30-point win against the GWS GIANTS.
The crafty small forward has become a staple in the Carlton forward line, ranking second at the club for tackles inside 50 and scoring six goals.
The 173cm forward opened the scoring for the match with a clever crumbing goal from a stoppage. His second came via an impressive running goal in the second quarter.
