The AFL wishes to advise Carlton has notified the league it would appeal Tuesday night’s Tribunal decision involving player Patrick Cripps.
Carlton have appealed the two-match sanction imposed on Cripps Engaging in Rough Conduct against Callum Ah Chee, Brisbane Lions, during the second quarter of the Round 21 match between Carlton and Brisbane Lions played at the The Gabba on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
The AFL Tribunal assessed the incident as Careless Conduct, High Impact, High Contact, resulting in a two-match sanction.
The hearing in front of the Appeals Board will be at 6:00pm AEST, Thursday August 11.
