1. Hawthorn traded Jack Gunston to the Brisbane Lions for its Round Three selection (48) and its Future Round Four Selection.
2. Collingwood traded Brodie Grundy to Melbourne for its Round Two Selection (27).
3. The Gold Coast SUNS traded Jack Bowes and its Round One Selection (7) to the Geelong Cats for its Future Third Round Selection.
4. The Adelaide Crows traded Billy Frampton to Collingwood for its Future Third Round Selection.
5. The GWS GIANTS traded Jacob Hopper, its Round Three Selection (53), and its Round Four Selection (63) to Richmond for its Round Two Selection (31) and Future First Round Selection.
6. Melbourne traded Toby Bedford to the GWS GIANTS for its Round Three Selection (44).
7. Melbourne traded Luke Jackson, its Round Three Selection (44), and its Round Four Selection (67) to Fremantle for its Round One Selection (13), Future First Round Selection and Future Second Round Selection.
8. Carlton traded Will Setterfield and its Round Four Selection (68) to Essendon for its Future Fourth Round Selection.
9.The Gold Coast SUNS traded Izak Rankine, its Round Three Selection (46), its Future Fourth Round Selection (tied to Fremantle) to the Adelaide Crows for its Round One Selection (5), its Future Third and Future Fourth Round Selection.

North Melbourne traded Jason Horne-Francis and its Future Round Three Selection (tied to Fremantle) to Port Adelaide. North Melbourne traded its Round One Selection (1) to the GWS GIANTS.
Port Adelaide traded its Round One Selection (8), Future Round Two Selection and Future Round Three Selection to the West Coast Eagles. Port Adelaide traded its Future Round One Selection and Round Three Selection (43) to North Melbourne.
Port Adelaide traded its Round Three Selections (53 and 57) to the GWS GIANTS.
The West Coast Eagles traded Junior Rioli to Port Adelaide. The West Coast Eagles traded its Round One Selection (2) and Round Three Selection (40) to North Melbourne.
The GWS GIANTS traded its Round One Selection (3) to North Melbourne. The GWS GIANTS traded its Round One Selection (12) to the West Coast Eagles. The GWS GIANTS traded its Future Round Two Selection (tied to Collingwood) to Port Adelaide.
11. The GWS GIANTS traded Tanner Bruhn to the Geelong Cats for its Round One Selection (18).
12. The Geelong Cats traded its Round Two Selection (38), its Round Three Selections (48, 55), its 2023 Round Two Selection, and its 2023 Round Four Selection to the Brisbane Lions for its Round Two Selection (25).

16. The GWS GIANTS traded its Round Two Selection (21) and its 2023 Round Two Selection to the Brisbane Lions for its Round One Selection (15).
17. St Kilda traded Ben Long and its 2023 Round Four Selection to the Gold Coast SUNS for its Round Two Selection (32).
18. The Brisbane Lions traded Thomas Berry, its Round Three Selection (46) and its 2023 Round Two Selection to the Gold Coast SUNS for its Round Two Selection (25), its Round Two Selection (36), and its Round Three Selection (56).
19. Fremantle traded Blake Acres to Carlton for its Future Third Round Selection.
20. Unrestricted Free Agent Daniel McStay signed with Collingwood.
Based on the player’s age and the contract offer, the AFL advised the Brisbane Lions that the club would be eligible for a Round Two selection (currently 35) in the 2022 NAB AFL Draft for Daniel McStay signing with Collingwood.
21. Unrestricted Free Agent Liam Jones signed with the Western Bulldogs.
Based on the player’s age and the contract offer, the AFL advised Carlton that the club would be eligible for a Round Three Selection (currently 49) in the 2022 NAB AFL Draft for Liam Jones signing with the Western Bulldogs.
22. Melbourne traded its Round Two Selection (33), its Round Three Selection (43), and its Round Three Selection (53) to Port Adelaide for its Round Two Selection (27).
23. Hawthorn signed Unrestricted Free Agent Karl Amon (Port Adelaide) on Friday September 30.
Based on the player’s age and the contract offer, the AFL advised Port Adelaide that the club would be eligible for a Round Two compensation selection, which would be number 27 on the current provisional draft selection order.
