St Kilda Football Club has entered a new chapter by unveiling a modernized club Crest, set to carry the red, white, and black into 2025 and beyond. This enduring symbol, cherished for over 90 years, has been a fundamental part of the club’s identity, gracing every St Kilda guernsey since 1933.

“We’re incredibly proud to reveal our new Crest as we look to set ourselves up for a strong and prosperous future,” said CEO Carl Dilena. “To be successful, we’ve got to be prepared to innovate and push boundaries. This bolder, more powerful logo symbolizes that, while also paying important homage to our history.”

Recognizing the significance of altering such an iconic emblem, the club initiated groundwork in September 2023. The process involved extensive research and consultation with a diverse group of stakeholders, including members, fans, current and former players, key club personnel, and the Board.

Key updates to the Crest include replacing “St K.F.C.” with “St Kilda” to reflect pride in the club’s origins and a more compact ribbon connected to the Crest, featuring the establishment date of 1873. The design also incorporates bolder lines and a prominent cross reminiscent of the original 1933 emblem.

The club’s motto, “Fortius Quo Fidelius,” previously housed in the ribbon, will now be featured within the hemlines of all St Kilda guernseys. The new Crest, symbolizing resilience and perseverance, will appear on all club apparel for the 2025 season, with the new guernseys to be unveiled soon.
