St Kilda champion Nick Riewoldt is on-track to add another accolade to his sterling resume this weekend with the six-time best and fairest set become the player to have taken the most marks in VFL/AFL history.
Riewoldt is only five marks behind Footscray and North Melbourne legend Gary Dempsey, who took an ridiculous 2906 marks between 1967 and 1984.
With an average of 8.79 marks per game, the former Saints skipper could be on track to break 3000 marks in his career if he plays on in 2018.
Sitting just inside the top eight, the Saints take on Richmond this Saturday night in a vital clash for their finals chances.
