The melee in the Saints v Tigers match draws the bulk of attention (and fines) from the panel.
HAWTHORN v GOLD COAST
JARROD HARBROW (GC) charged with a Level Two striking offence – reckless, low impact, high contact – against LUKE BREUST (Haw) in Q4. In light of a six-year good record an early guilty plea by Harbrow will draw a reprimand.
ST KILDA v RICHMOND
STEVEN MORRIS (Rch) charged with a Level One rough conduct offence – negligent, low impact, high contact – against SEAN DEMPSTER (StK) in Q1. An early guilty plea will bring a reprimand.
STEVEN MORRIS (Rch) charged with a Level One rough conduct offence – negligent, low impact, high contact – against JACK STEVEN (StK) in Q1. An early guilty plea will bring a reprimand.
Note: Where a player is charged with multiple offences during a match, under Tribunal rules the points for each offence where the player accepts a penalty are added together. For each amount of 100 points, there must be one match served as a result.
JIMMY WEBSTER (StK) charged with a first offence for being the instigator of a melee during Q3. An early guilty plea will draw an $1800 fine.
DUSTIN MARTIN (Rch) charged with a second offence for engaging in a melee during Q3. An early plea will gather a $2100 fine.
ANTHONY MILES (Rch) charged with a first offence for engaging in a melee during Q3. An early plea will fetch an $1200 fine.
SEB ROSS (StK) charged with a first offence for engaging in a melee in Q3. An early guilty plea will draw a $1200 fine.
JIMMY WEBSTER (StK) charged with a first offence for engaging in a melee in Q3. An early guilty plea will bring a $1200 fine.
WESTERN BULLDOGS v MELBOURNE
NEVILLE JETTA (Mel) charged with a Level Two rough conduct offence – reckless, low impact, high contact – against FLETCHER ROBERTS (WB) in Q3. An early guilty plea will bring a one-match suspension.
COLLINGWOOD v CARLTON
MITCH ROBINSON (Car) charged with a Level Three striking offence against TAYLOR ADAMS (Col) in Q1. In light of a previous poor record, a two-match suspension must remain even with an early guilty plea.
Other incidents assessed –
The match report against DAYNE BEAMS (Col) for striking ED CURNOW (Car) was examined. The MRP found the force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action.
