Port Adelaide are tipped by many to go a long way onfield this year and common sense, and recent history, suggests this will be matched by Fantasy performances.
The issue is that unlike last year, everyone else is thinking this too, including the pointy headed boffins that do the pricing down at DreamTeam headquarters.
There are Port players that will score high and reliably. You’ll have to pay for them and more crucially though, make sure you get the right men for the job.

GET THEM IN
Robbie Grey (FWD/MID $546,000)
Yep, he’s pricey but I just don’t see Grey slowing down. The dual position designation obviously helps a great deal too. I’ll certainly pick him.
Ollie Wines (MID $517,000)
It seems like only yesterday Wines was the fat thighed rookie everybody made a mint off and again, of all the Port mids, I think Wines is the one with real potential for serious price growth.
NOT WITH A BARGEPOLE
Jay Schulz (FWD $440,000)
By acquiring Ryder, a lot of the load at Port will be taken off Schulz’s shoulders. He’ll still win them games but there will be better Fantasy options available.
Jake Neade (FWD $276,000)
Was popular last year but avoid this season. Priced awkwardly and simply doesn’t get the numbers.
WORTH A PUNT
Chad Wingard (FWD $439,000)
If Wingard pushes through the midfield he’ll get great numbers and will be an absolute steal. That said, if he plays deep forward again his numbers will fluctuate heavily.
Kane Mitchell (FWD/MID $397,000)
An interesting one here. Obviously the dual position is a great attraction. But will he get games? If he does, then he’s well worth a look.
