This may sound a bit sad and nowhere near as exciting as ruminating about who we could select with pick #4, but I'm excited about the prospect of 3 picks in the 40's! No idea if we will actually use 5 selections in the draft or not, but I hope we do as I really think we need to refresh our list...
...And he is a weapon when fit and confident, and was very important in us getting to the GF.
But the memory of that missed mark in the lastQ of the GF, where Dusty kicked freak goal #4, is pretty depressing. A simple overhead mark, uncontested.
Would you then pass on the Higgins move as well?
...to start the AFL take the best picks you have to match the number of list spots you have and wipe the rest.
If we only have 5 spots on our primary list, even if we have pick #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #20, #21, #22 and #23 only picks 1,2,3,4 and 5 will remain when the draft starts, the rest evaporate.
...have been at least 31 points less. This is the approach taken by Squiggle Sliding Doors and allows for a lot more luck/natural variation than #4, which only altered the results of scoring shots. So here you get alternate realities where Vlastuin isn't wiped out in the first quarter, or...
...will remain exactly where it is.
Pick #20 will move up to wherever the JUH bid is, and everything inbetween will shuffle down. For example, if the bid comes in at #2, then #20 will be come #2, the former #2 will become #3, #3 will become #4, ... , #19 will become #20, and #21 will remain at...
...He is one of only 4 premiership winning coaches during his time.
The highest draft pick the club has had access to in the past decade is pick #4, where we selected Gaffy. We have had no top 10 picks since then.
I understand that it is frustrating watching our guys seemingly averse to the...
Well serial,
There's a bit of shock on social media what BLUEALLTHRU only got to #4, considering his high profile on the other threads. It seems to be unanimous that the remaining 3 will be Metalcrusher , NaturalDisaster and Chipmunk , with Crusshy heavy favourite to take out the win (MC $1.10...
...- Takes over as the #1 local seed and looks the only class runner that can feature for Australia this year (barring a wet track)
3 - SANTIAGO (LW #4, $16) - booking of J Allen remains a concern but form around Tiger Moth has him right in this
4 - SURPRISE BABY (Last week #1, Betfair $10.50) -...
...Football Association Teams:' (https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/what-are-the-sweet-football-associaton-teams.2598/). Scroll down to post #4, and the man himself, the legend, the superstar, Mobbs, posted this:
The first thing that stands out is Mobbs' typed-out signature (which was...
...Steelers are now my #1 team (Dolphins #2), and so yeah Chiefs #3....and like the Jaguars and Bengals and Buccaneers enough to consider them my #4, #5, and #6 teams.
But not supporting them, just like them.
I'm all in on being an avid Steelers fan who has a place in his heart for the Dolphins...
I don't get how so many people don't understand what was done and why?!?
Crows would likely have picked Tom Green at #4, forcing us to either miss him to select Lachie Ash (or Young - I would have equally have chosen him around that pick), or take Green and miss Ash. No trade with Crows meant...
You trade that future second before the draft for possibly one of Geelong's late first picks, or even Port's first this year. Take the selection at #4, match Campbell. Personally I wouldn't match Gulden in the first round.
...2-5 places.
If we had no points to match on Gulden and he came in at #25, that would give us another ~550 point deficit in the 2nd round, which would cost us 10-15 places in the 2nd round.
I don't want us to do that at all. I'd much rather trade back from #4, or live trade with our future 2nd.
I can't seem to find anything that suggests he's contracted beyond the end of 2021. Anyone know?
I just think his body has taken so much that if he got flag #4, he'd exit on a high. He's given everything, so fair enough.
...Saturday night
3 - SIR DRAGONET (LW #3, $50) - slight Betfair drift this week perhaps suggesting better suited CC and CP
4 - VERRY ELLEEGANT (LW #4, $24) - Humidor's stranglehold over the Cox Plate opens up her Cups double chances
5 - FINCHE (LW #10, $34) - Superb return from this fellow who...
We don't ever really get pick #4, when they issue the draft order it will have factored our reduction in.
If gold coast, Carlton and St Kilda play finals this year then Fremantle will be the only club not to have played finals in the last five seasons.
That's got to be worth something.
I think you need a touch more context then that. In 2015-2017 we were winning the midfield battle a lot, so much so we were the #5, #4, #2 ranked team for clearances in those years respectively. We as a midfield were humming with young players that we had drafted in the 7 drafts before that...
So many good tributes on Instagram by teammates - love this one though: they're drafted together, debuted 1 game apart and been playing alongside each other for the last 14 years. But from the looks of photo #4, not sure Joel's much help on the farm
Freo currently have:
#2, #24, #93, #111
Adelaide hold:
#1, #7, #20, #22, #39, #54, #71
Geelong:
#4, #9, #11, #28
I'd be surprised if we don't hold a top 25 pick from at least one of those teams by draft time.
It obviously speaks to the veracity of Lumumba’s accusation under his point #4, that Buckley deliberately misled the public. I think that’s important and evidently so does Lumumba.
...get a free pass, due to the need to give them experience.
There's probably not a lot of difference in output between categories #3 and #4, but I have a lot more sympathy for players who are actually trying with limited ability, ahead of those who can't be bothered putting in the effort...

I'm happy to take the $12 on offer for the 5. I have it finishing in third place, three points behind #4, so it's value.

...both young and healthy.
The two worked in the Cliffside Park School District in New Jersey, both as special education teachers – she at School #4, he at School #6. A star baseball player in high school, he continued his passion by coaching the varsity baseball team.
For Ben, however, his...
