Ressies are suddenly light on for talls.

? Buller ?

And WTF yet another TBC on S Reid. What is the precise diagnosis?

Beyond fattening his Super what is the value of having this bloke on the list? If he had a smidgeon of human decency and loyalty to the Club he would immediately retire and free up a spot. But he would never do that. Damned unlucky or a malingerer, the jury is out.

Instead I expect he will have a late season Lazarus recovery to try and get an extension into 2025. No doubt the same folk who supported his retention in the past, will do so again.

I am starting to think the same. Unless it is grand final day and we are down some tall forwards, is he even reliable enough to be fit for that one game. It is not looking good. He has been out now for how long?

Reid has a foot issue now? Achilles?

Buller is not even on the list dead?

Gee whizz 2 quarters of the 2022 GF could be the last senior appearance from him.

More like “will”

That is how I will remember him.

Eight out of 44 listed players unavailable for tomorrow's matches due to injury, McCartin, Mills, Reid, Ladhams, Warner Jr, McAndrew, Edwards and Arnold.

Roberts also not selected so as to be travelling emergency.

Unfortunately didn't get to watch all of tonight's match. Missed the incident where Fox was injured. What type of injury if known and was there talk from the commentary of how serious it might be/how long out? Understand it might to be early to know.

Went to kick the ball, Carlton player went in low, Fox tripped up and landed on his shoulder and popped his shoulder out. Subbed out for caution

So the only player we may get back this week is McAndrew (test)

Another week for Edwards and Ladhams has delayed concussion symptoms from the North game, so now in protocols

Sam Reid
Sam continues to progress well in his recovery from stress related foot pain. He is continuing to build up his running volume this week.

Will Edwards
Will’s cut which became infected is healing well. He will miss this weekend’s match.

Lachlan McAndrew
Lachlan’s recovery is progressing well in line with the AFL’s concussion guidelines. He is a test to play this weekend.

Corey Warner
Corey’s ankle sprain is healing well and has progressed to running. He is still likely to miss at least another week of football.

Tom McCartin

Harry Arnold

Robbie Fox
Robbie suffered an AC joint injury against Carlton. He will see the specialist later this week to determine a return to play plan.

Pete Ladhams
Pete reported some delayed concussion symptoms in the week after the VFL match against North Melbourne.

As a result, he was withdrawn from the match against Frankston in line with the AFL’s concussion guidelines. He will miss this weekend’s match.

The 4-5 weeks on Mills is interesting.

Presumably 4-5 weeks until he’s ready to have a run at some level, for some amount of game time.

But how long til he’s ready to play an AFL match?

I’d hazard a guess at 2-3 weeks beyond the 4-5.

Eight players from 44 listed not available for tonight and tomorrow's game due to injury. McCartin, Mills, Fox, Ladhams, Warner Jr, Reid, Arnold and Edwards.

Parker also unavailable due to suspension.
