Collingwood were gifted that game. Thirty-three free kicks to Footscray's fourteen. Disgraceful. Right up there with some of the worst umpiring I’ve ever seen.

When the umpires pull that sort of rubbish they do the game a disservice. I doubt that either side will play finals this year, but if either does, they won’t last beyond the first week.

If the Pies were up by way more late in that game, the umps would have been desperately trying to wallpaper over that free kick differential with some cheapies in the backline and on the wing.

They couldn’t do it tonight because it was too close and the result was already written in ink. Instead of paying cheapest they were absolutely obvious Bulldogs frees.

Free kicks NEVER go against the Pies when it's tight. Blind Freddy can see that. Been happening since 2022.

Dunno mate I don't usually buy into the umpire hype too much. Sometimes the luck runs your way the next week it doesn't.

One of the worst games I’ve been to lol, Sam Darcy will go down as one of the best players when it’s said and done and all credit to the Dogs for making it scrappy, they win if they are healthy.

I'm sick of the whinging but doesn't mean it isn't valid. I'm sick of the whinging because it shows something is wrong but nothing ever changes, nobody is accountable.

There are many more injustices in the world, sure, but this is a small reflection of all the injustices that happen in the world. Vested interests, corruption, it's the norm in the world, so is anyone surprised pro sports aren't as fair as they profess? Guess we just accept it, but it just takes the fun out of the sport.

I mean, I'm tired of hating Collingwood not because they're Collingwood, but because this repetitive bs. I won't respect/acknowledge them because of it. Their 2023 flag is in the same arena as Ben Johnsons 1988 100m run or Lance Armstrong's Tour de France wins lol.

If the umps give the kicks to the opposition when the pies infringed itd be ok.
