Honestly though, if I was him I'd want to preserve any remaining goodwill/legacy from the flag and walk. Not gonna get a job anywhere else at this rate.
This is what i said last year too. Was clear we weren't going to challenge anytime soon and the Crows were potentially in need of a coach. Thought that might be a good fit. But Crows have found their spark now. So he'd have nowhere to go. Can't see him walking unless we go 0-10 or something ridiculous.

There was always this feeling that Roos had set him up with a forward-thinking strategy that he was just playing out. It now really seems like that was the case and he has no idea how to evolve the team from there. He's got to go.
I think he genuinely coached attack in 17-18 but didn't really want to. Felt forced to with how shit our backline was. Once that was sorted it was all contest/defence.

Get what you're saying, but those guys didn't come with off-field issues attached to them, too. His stock league-wide would be in the toilet at the moment.
We'll agree to disagree. Off field issues get walked by so much in this industry.

They will give him softballs on 360 the whole anxiety thing means he gets treated like a baby.

If crowds and membership drops off enough this year they'll sack him, but it'd be mid year at earliest. Thankfully we've got a few interstate clubs at the MCG where the crap crowds will be very obvious.

Wonder if he'll turn to more tall forwards as a solution?

Fullarton kicked a couple for Casey, so maybe.

Surely the penny drops and he opens it up for smaller types, or at least when Kozzy is back drops a tall?

Na he's stubborn as **** and will continue to play a bunch of slow talls up forward and ask them to all fly together in the pocket 🧠

Yep. This is the big one for me too. The crowd next week a big watch. Against the Suns at the G could see a record low attendance. No one is buying a membership atm. So the club might be reluctant to move him on, but could be forced too if no one shows up. I'm an avid attend the footy no matter what member, but not a chance in hell I'm going anymore until things change. Club has lost me after today. I did pick us to lose, but the way we did it was embarrassing

A good club would have sacked him when we lost to Carlton in 23' semi...we gave him a new contract
Swear to **** wait for it. Green will come out during the week talking about how many touches clarry had and we're working toward a future

We have no real leadership from the top down.

None of them want to be there, and we had to beg a guy to be our CEO (and he still said no)

Who's gonna have the power or balls to make a sections like sacking the coach? The same board that hired and back him?

I can't believe I live in a world where I sat through the neeld years, saw a rebuild then a flag and I hate the club more than the neeld years.
One thing about us being a joke was that there was nowhere to hide. Even idiots like Neeld were actually trying to make the club better. The current mob live in a fantasy world where we just need a little more luck to turn it round.
