With no Bull Inside Mid he does not have same Impact
Are people still talking about Sier? He was as soft as butter and was quickly worked out by opposition coaches. This from a fan-boy initially. Lapinski is three times the player.
He gained 92m with 6 kicks and 16 handballs. Attended 22 centre bounces and didn't get a clearance.
Callum Brown had less disposals, gained 133m and 2 centre clearances from 6. And he is the whipping boy.
There have several kids who should be playing mid before Lipinski.

This is how dumb stats are.
He's here to win big contested balls and win clearances, all he does is float around and get uncontested footy, but doesn't even use it well.

I think someone who plays as much on ball time should win more of his own footy but he’s not that kind of player and people expecting that were setting themselves up for disappointment.
He’s going to have to win more of it or move to a wing/flank role imo. I think he definitely has talent though and I’m not sure on your last comment, he definitely looks to use it well to me.

Comparing apples and pears. C brown is more inside as a player than Lipinski
Lipinski had 2 clearances. C Brown had 3
Lipinski 6 tackles to C Brown 5 tackles
Most tellingly C Brown went at 57% disposal efficiency… his 19 touches resulted in only 11 effective disposals
Lipinski 21 touches went at 90% efficiency
C Brown is omitted next week for Adams. Lipinski will play next week

That’s the issue, Lipinski looks obviously more outside yet plays an inside roll.
He's useless in heavy traffic, doesn't have the acceleration or quick thinking to have an impact in contests.

Ridiculous claim. Sier had his faults, but he also had an x-factor.

Too bad he had 72 metres gained for the entire match... Bianco got half of that in 1 kick as a med sub.
Lipinski had 16 handballs so he'd want to have a high efficiency.
Do you see him as inside or outside? Imo he is too slow to play outside.
He doesn't have the wheels to play outside.

Not every midfielder is a clearance machine. Nor do they have to be exclusively either inside or outside players…
Lipinski is part of the midfield mix. Can play a few roles.
Averaging 24.5 touches (at 77% efficiency), 4 tackles, 3 clearances, 4 inside 50s and nearly a goal a game
We must be a good side if people think that this is underperforming or not good enough to play each week

Speed. Those 2 csn turn on a dime and are elite ball handlers. Lipinski can't do either.
