heck that I would have gone out for cigarettes chardonnay and never come home.

Being allowed to stay up past midnight reading is elite though. My parents tried (and failed) to ban me reading at the dining table. I still do it and hope my son (soon to be plural) follows in my footsteps :moustache:

The only reason I was ever allowed to stay up late was reading or watching documentaries

Pretty good policy imo

Watched Once Upon a time in Hollywood last night. Bit drawn out at times but thought the best bit was the pool fry-up.
Interesting take on a pretty nasty crime.

I liked it even more on rewatch. I think my favourite scene was between Leo and the child actress, especially when followed up by her reaction to his acting chops later.

When Cliff (Brad Pitt) insists on seeing the old film director that they have in the house on the commune, but it becomes obvious that they're FOS and Cliff is about to have something nasty befall him...

But then it turns out they weren't lying and he was in fact there. chef's kiss mwah, Taranatino is a master of cheating expectations. I really should have known.

I'm pretty sure they didn't realise that if I wasn't up all night reading I was waking myself up at 4am to watch cartoons. I mastered waking myself up at a particular time without an alarm.

Now I regularly wake up 5 minutes before my alarm and it absolutely shits me. I'd kill for those 5 extra minutes.

Being allowed to stay up for one quarter of Friday Night Footy or the last few overs of an Australia ODI was always a pleasure in primary school.

Amazing to think in 2011 we still had footy on a few hours delay.

How’d we go from GOT to this?

Never change RDT.

Anyway.

GOT. I lost interest after season 5. I jumped off at the right time. It’s never to be seen.

Conversely, I’m finally finishing the Sopranos. It’s THE best show ever made based purely off the casting. Everything else is a bonus. Not a single character doesn’t fit or work 110%.

If you disagree you are wrong

Hobbit as it was not needed for 3 movies and such a drag.

I actually enjoy the fantastic beasts as it holds up on its own.
Does it hold up on its own? The new one even has Dumbledore in its title haha.

I feel like this is dragging too as I assumed this was the last of a trilogy. With 10 mins to go I thought shit there’s a lot still to be resolved. Seems like there’s more to come…
