I am very much left wing and on board with scrubbing racist depictions unless it's purely for educational value or to be mocked, but the removal of the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons episode of Community from streaming services (where Chang does black face to ostensibly represent a dark elf) gets my goat. It's perfectly fine to have blackface as long as it's not used to put down black people. Chang is depicted in the series as a classless buffoon and he gets called out for his poor taste blackface by a black ensemble cast member. It isn't even that hard to edit the joke out - it's a throwaway gag that's not critical to the episode (which actually does have a nice message behind it).

I’d love to see it though just to see the reaction to it given the completely overt racism of Ted Bullpit - the beauty of that series was whilst he thought he was in control as the man of the house he was actually a buffoon and the butt of the jokes. I wonder whether it todays climate whether audiences would be able to see that

It should be said that Ted bullpit was a pretty close representation of a lot of men of his vintage who would have failed to recognise he was a parody and not a role model

Was my first thought too but then I remember I never actually saw the original as its final season aired the year I was born.

The Hutchy thing made me sad for sure. But Bendat had supposedly be entertaining multiple offers for the club for quite a while, and determined that was the best of them, so I can only begrudgingly support that decision.
The new GM & coach though ... yeah, off to a very rocky start indeed. If they break the playoff streak in season 1 then the loyal fanbase is gonna turn on them pretty hard.
You shouldn't be this close to the end of a season and still as a hard core basketball fan be unable to figure out what the coach's brand is for the playing style. My bigger worry is that the players still don't really know.

A lot of coaches cop flack for not having an effective plan B, but I'm not convinced we even have a fully formed plan A.

Any tech savy guys here? My internet keeps dropping in/out say 1hr on / 1hr off.

I think its the telstra modem (had it for 4 years) as its pretty warm.

I wouldnt mind buying a new modem from JB tomorrow but what to i need to connect this to my internet?

You can connect a PC directly to the NBN Termination Device. That will bypass your modem and you can see if it drops out. If it does, then it’s an NBN issue. If it doesn’t then try a different router.

Unfortunately i have fibre to the node, so my modem plugs into the phone socket

Try a new modem (I think you can return if it wasn't a modem issue), but I wouldn't be surprised if the issue is wiring between the node and your property.
At least that was the issue for me
