Glad to see this fella back among the full training. Looking forward to his reappearance in the purple very soon.

Haze did his back before he even played afl iirc. He did a disc and got a fusion which was an idiotic move. But the main problem was chops inability to keep himself in decent nick. He’d get to round 22 then park himself on the couch for 12 weeks and show up to training looking like a potato. With contemporary injury management for instance we might have had Hase and Des on the park in the 2013 GF rather than long since retired crocked by injuries by 30.
Fremantle Instagram has switta back in the gym so his back can’t be that bad.
Yeah he's the one that can change the angles, and get that burst of separation.I like this big time
Switta is crucial

His ability to pick up the ball at speed is impressive too.
His talent became clear pretty quick, along with his obvious injury struggles, but he's taken it to a new level this year, genuinely damaging.
He did a hammy in a marking contest late in the second.I was at the game but we all saw Tabs come off… what was it? Back / hammy again? Saw the trainer trying to stretch out that area so we assumed so
Tabs has been very unreliable this year, very concerning

It seemed like it was precautionary rather than a definite injury. From memory, we were well in front by that stage or Port had only kicked a goal or two of the come back. It's concerning he's been out so much but I recon it's a 50/50 on him playing next week or being on the list with TBA next to his name.He did, then in the 4th he rolled up his top and said it was his back.

The hope is with Treacy fit soon (touch wood) we can see how Lobb/Logue/Treacy play in the some forward line. Both Logue & Treacy are fantastic are ground level for key position players and means Lobb can't be doubled if they have to respect all three as lead-up targets
Agree with that but they will likely take a more conservative option and I felt we were too tall against Carlton at Marvel. It looked briefly as though he was going to come back on but was tapped out after doing some further testing. Port got back into the game on the back of Dixon going beast mode for a few clearances there. Also Longmuir summed it up well. We got pushed back in the clearances (second in line) and the ball seemed to bounce around and landed perfectly for Port to run forward.I didn't notice him with any treatment post testing and I suspect given we were almost 40 points up it was the right call to put him on metaphorical ice (since he didn't get iced) and cruise to the end.
If we did lose the game it wouldn't have been because Tabs wasn't out there. It was all clearances.
The exact sort of lesson to learn without having to pay full price for it about four quarters of intensity.
My concern playing Sturt is all WAFL had a bye. I think he needs continuity in playing to maintain his touch. Seemed to building for Peel before the bye. Give another 2 weeks and bring in for the Tigers game at Marvel. Make Grimes accountable for him and Logue.Agree with that but they will likely take a more conservative option and I felt we were too tall against Carlton at Marvel. I’d run with a medium tall replacement for Tabs at Marvel and hopefully fully recovered Tabs for Optus the week after.
Banfield keeps popping up and showing me I know nothing but for mine he just struggles with the tempo of AFL footy. He is more than serviceable but for mine it is an opportunity to give Sturt a game. I reckon Sturt and Logue on the leads outside 50 - otherwise long to Lobb also on the lead at to around 30/40metres out. I think Logue can take those contested marks that Tabs did against Carlton out on the wing but with more mobility.
