Who'd you put on him?

If we were fair dinkum about shutting him down then McGrath - not as a full on tag but just to be a bit defensively minded and not let him run around with no opponent anywhere near him. Now I know everyone wants McGrath for the Cameron matchup but Kelly is back in the side and he did a respectable job on him last time.

Its easier to find room for this matchup with Parish out I should add. Less temptation to just go head to head in the middle.

Reddog out hurts..
Hoping Andy picks up where he left off. If he can quell Charlie and give us some decent rebound, that will go a long way to compensating.

We really need Draper taking marks to give us an out and blocking their rebound exits. It hurts only having Peter Wright doing the job, and will moreso without Parish - Caldwell will have to step up. This is why I find it flummoxing that people want to get rid of Phillips, whose dukes are better.

I thought Guelfi had an excellent contested game last week. He was diving under packs all game.

Further on Draper, I'd really like to see him harrassing the s*** out of Daniher when he goes up the ground. He averages 2 goals a game against us so I'm reasonably confident he can be defended against i50, but he'll jump all over Draper around the ground - had 25 disposals last time we met. No Hipwood and no McStay helps, but probably means Joey stays forward a bit more.

I agree with McGrath. If he is to become a full time defender then it make sense to extend that to the midfield. However, considering where we are developmentally I'd rotate Caldwell and Hobbs on him. Not hard tags but play him close and try and beat him to the ball at the stoppage and run with him when ball is in the open so no easy kicks for him.

I hadn't been planning on going to this game but due to a quirky twist of fate am now going and on my way now. C'mon Bombers. At least make a game of it.

Does anyone know who did the job on Mills last week?

It was seemingly Parish at Stoppage who sacrificed his game a bit to keep him quiet (Parish had only 20 touches, but 7 tackles) whilst when they shifted Mills to the wing Durham and Heppell outworked him.

Hipwood not playing?

WHOA that is genuinely spine-tingling stuff. Kudos to the designer. Do you mind if I share it on our game day thread VelvetSledge?
By all means go ahead, I know of a few of the guys on the design team and they always smash it out of the park. I’m sure they’ll be happy to see it shared!
