It is funny 3 or 4 wks ago when we were just getting over the line against the Suns and Nth and then the Tigers went and lost to both of them not much said here we are 2 just beating the Crows and then Carlton losing to them I wonder if the media will go after them,I don,t care anyway because we won all 3.

I would be careful about what you hope there I think the Tigers are 1 team who could win it from 8th they are more a threat than either Carlton,Freo or the Saints IMV.
The Blues could implode now their last 3 are Dees,Lions and the Pies and on current form could lose all 3,no chance at top 4 .
The reality is - and most supporters won’t agree - but Carlton has the second most talent in the league behind Melbourne… But we have too many pretenders. Too much grappa drinking on that boarf

Carlton's top end talent is insane. Cripps, Curnow, McKay, Weitering and Walsh should get you into finals alone. I'd kill for those players, especially Walsh or Curnow.

It shows the importance of building a strong base through defence and hard work. Talent and offence will only get you so far.
It's why tanking/failing for too long can be a negative, even though you keep adding potential stars, they're not often the hard nosed, work horse types and it's hard to build the right culture. Too star dependent.
We've been the epitome of defence and effort in 2022. Often beating more talented teams. Crows have been right up there also for parts of the year, tonight's result not a massive surprise.
