So, if we changed the white to teal 'they would allow us to wear it once a season"?

WTF? If we changed it to teal, they would have no say at all. There would be no black and white stripes, so it could become our permanent jumper (if it wasn't such an abomination)

The world has gone mad...

WTF???

GAGF collywobblers

This is simply an attempt to create division.
It a pathetic attempt to divert the conversation.

The last negotiation ended with us having an agreement to wear them once a year (heritage round).

Since then we have moved our request much closer to that (twice a year)

Collingwood have moved 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

Bad faith

That's actually insulting if Collingwood has officially said that. Not that we'd change the colours, I expect that to be Collingwood's suggestion. But that teal would completely replace white and we'd still only wear it once a season. They know they don't have a leg to stand on if it's anything other than black and white and still said it. Taking the piss.

Forget Ken for a second. Koch needs to resign tomorrow if he doesn't take a massive stand and say we will be wearing the black and white bars in showdowns next year.

I’d go one step further and wear it in round 23.

Should be our home Guernsey already, the teal bars olive branch we were offered just goes to show what we're dealing with, anyone who thinks the Afl will side with us over Collingwood is smoking rocks, not sure why so many cry when silver bars are suggested, looks great
What makes you think silver bars would be approved anyway?

Pretty embarrassing for Jon Ralph that he wrote that article without realising it’s a piss take from Collingwood. Jeff Browne must be pissing himself with laughter.

Meanwhile our boy kochblock continues to kick home goal after home goal, with several key decisions ahead of us can we really trust him as our chairman?

Paste article content please. I doubt it’s real.

LOL HOW THE HELL IS IT THE BLACK AND WHITE PRISON BARS IF IT’S BLACK AND TEAL 🤣🤣
KOCHIE NEEDS TO GROW A PAIR . He is apparently fuming because he played nice in negotiations
Laughing stock.

The Herald Sun can reveal the Pies are prepared to make ground to allow Port Adelaide to bring its historical jumper back into the AFL but only with certain concessions.

Port Adelaide’s prison bar jumper has a predominantly black top third and then the black and white prison bar panels on the lower two thirds of the playing strip.

The Pies are not prepared to allow the Power to wear black and white prison bars but believe a compromise is the use of teal instead of white in those panels of the jumper.

They believe it would allow the Power to combine the heritage aspects of a proud club that has won 36 SANFL premierships with the modern teal colour of a side in the AFL since 1997

With both parties now cooling off after that recent spat, it is not known if the Power could accept the Collingwood rapprochement but the offer will be made for 2023 and onwards.

Pies president Jeff Browne declined to comment when approached about the proposal.

But a compromise position would help both clubs as Collingwood would not be seen as mean-spirited and the Power could deliver a win for fans desperate to retain the prison bar tradition.

Collingwood chief executive Mark Anderson said last month the Pies would not allow the prison bar jumper to be worn but said there could be a spirit of compromise

Talk about metaphorically being on the ropes.

This next period is where Koch’s legacy will be defined. He can still redeem himself but who can see it happening.

Most likely next year Hinkley will be coaching a teal clad Port on a Sunday in front of 7,000 filthy happy clappers.

FTFY

Collingwood claiming they own the concept of similar black stripes (add teal to it and we’ll let you wear it once!) would be news to North and their use of identical white stripes.

Farcical.
