They’ll be more than willing to go back into debt to avoid the spectre of Tasmania.

Success is the only way they will.

I’ve said it for ages and been shot down for it here but what Sheedy said is exactly what the AFL wants, they don’t care whether Tasmania wants it.

The AFL (VFL) will look after their own before Tassy.

Sheedy wont be wrong.

This is all planning.

They should be drilled to know what to do in crucial situations. What if we're up by 10 with 5 mins to go for example, what if we're down by 10 at that same time.

There should be an exact plan - what to think, where to be, how to structure for each possible situation. Have that and the pressure goes because you know your exact role.

Instead the entire game our players are just thinking oh boy I better work hardery longery and pridery the communitery
Which surely comes back to the way the coach prepares the team. Yeah the players have some responsibility for their actions, but if the same failings keep happening time and again, the bloke in the hot seat shouldn't be immune from criticism.

I cant see how a club with little footy department spend, spending it all on one coach is going to work
Regardless of how good a coach he is
I'm starting to think big Al is a little over rated. Remember Donuts was only a kick away from spoiling Claksons run of Grand Finals in 2014, he also had some good players at his disposal.

Hardwick is an interesting choice, he took a middle of the road team to to Grand Finals and they are still a good side even without Dusty.

I can't remember the exact game, but never was this more evident this year than when we were up late and tried to ice the clock. I reckon we made it two kicks before we turned it over near our defensive 50. It was comical.

How many times do we hear how we train for that exact scenario and we bottle it every single time.

As soon as we get down so far there is little hope, the shackles come off and we mount an epic comeback. You can set your watch to it.

the comebacks are just a sure sign of bad coaching, it show the talent is there but the coach doesnt know how to organise them properly as a team to execute what needs to be done. The comebacks have largely been driven from players letting go the coaching doctrine and playing to their own strengths. Sack Ken

I honestly don't think we do, or at least if we are then the training is so bad its basically the same as not practicing it at all.

Tweet was Essendon chairman addressing the players at 9.30, Rutten addressing the players at 11.30

He can’t really fail at North or Essendon.
Winning a final or two in the next 5 years would be seen as a an amazing success.

Damo Barrett is reporting that Clarko has chosen North.

Daddy Donuts wins again. What a jag off
Clarkson gets to pad the retirement fund. We get told "not even Alastair Clarkson could save Norf". They then get shipped off to Tasmania.
