Damo Barrett is reporting that Clarko has chosen North.

Daddy Donuts wins again. What a jag off
Damo Barrett also reported that he can't see Hinkley at Port Adelaide next year.

As much as I want a change. That's not Hinkley's fault. That's the fault of his employer. I agree with some of the posters here, holding up signs and carrying on like a pork chop is only going to make us look like idiots. We're at the mercy of those that run the club. Simple.

If your employer pulls you into the office and says "You haven't accomplished your goal here in the last 10 years, you have 3 years to it" would you walk after you haven't accomplished it after 2 more? I doubt the terms of his contract are even as explicit as that. Also, who's the dumb one? The employee who doesn't quit 2 years into a 3 year appointment for not accomplishing his goals, or the employer not including stipulations in that contract that align with the employer's goals? How can you say you aim to win 3 premierships in 5 years and not included performance clauses in a 3 year contract that include winning a premiership?
Spot on, the people that currently run our club are clueless. Ken & his manager have taken ample advantage of this.

Credit to Sonja Hood.

Didn't worry about the fact that Norf are a small club, didn't worry about the state of the list, or how it would look if they missed out. Just rolled up the sleeves, got on the blower, had a genuine crack and now they have the most successful coach out there at their club.

Essendon might still need a coach........

Happy for North, they clearly put the effort in. Suck an egg Essendon, you've cursed your club for at least another decade.

FML, another year of the greyhound killer.

Essendon can dig themselves out of this I reckon, get rid of Rutten & sift through all the assistants nation wide.

Doesn't sound that bad to me Schofield, McVeigh, Kingsley off the bat... I'm kinda jealous tbh.

Reckon they need an experienced coach to achieve a group connectedness that's never been seen before. Also someone that could never give the opportunity for the poor image of being ignored by players while coaching from the bench.

While it would have been great to get Clarkson, the real reason I wanted him was that his availability conjured into existence a sliver of a chance that our milquetoast administration would move Donuts on.

With that gone, it is even clearer that the need is to take back the club from the disinterested, the conflicted and the dilettantes.
