Our midfield with Moyle and Bowes should be the match winning combo I think. When they can clear it out with ease and we can get it to a good contest or mark, then we look very good.

Markov was listening. I wonder if we're seriously considering drafting Chip for a year just to add some experience and leadership while our young defenders develop? A Luke Hodge at Brisbane like role.

There have been several instances where it is obvious we don’t have a good small forward at VFL level with Sexton playing AFL. Plenty of awful crumbs that he would have nailed.

Could easily argue he's the sole reason our 2s are going to play finals this year. I'm sure plenty of Victorian scouts are eyeing him off though. Dodoro from Essendon is reportedly at the ground so he'd be into him for sure given Essendon's need for another tall forward.
