Essendon have dug themselves into a real hole. The reputation of the club isn't great, and nobody who is serious about career coaching would go anywhere near them right now. They'll find someone willing to cut their teeth as an AFL coach, and maybe they'll get lucky, but whoever gets the job will need all the luck he can muster.

It's been delayed very short term.
When Selwood, Dangerfield, Hawkins, Cameron etc. pull the pin in the very near future they'll be stuffed.

He's always missing chunks of seasons with some injury (missed a fair time with broken colllarbone this season).
