Brynn Teakle - another set of steak knives.
Both upgrades in several positions - nelson and witherden for fredrick, teakle would be second ruck, First when Nic nat comes in over weight and does his traditional soft tissue injury

I wouldnt be surprised if Ryan wants to leave, the club is not going anywhere for a few years. Forget about Jackson cost to much and why would he want to come to our club when they are so bad. We need more draft picks and start a fresh

All Ryan’s family is in WA so he’s not leaving the state which means Fremantle is his only alternative

Oh and he’s also contracted until 2024

Trading Rioli, who, for all his issues, has shown himself to be a class player, which is why PA are offering 4 years @$600k per year, for one or even two fringe players who have played a handful of games and as yet have not shown that they are b22 AFL level players let alone good ones, does not seem like good business. The club is talking about significant compensation not a packet of chips, or even two packets.

Im just saying they could be an extra incentive to maybe get a close trade over the line, or at least consider that could contribute to fixing our current situation

He's out of contract and Port will likely spend their draft capital securing Dunkley... we're in a 'third rounder or PSD' position unfortunately.

IMO we'll show some balls and force Willie to take the draft and we'll get nothing. But a third rounder is basically nothing to us anyway. We wont use the pick.

lol people in this thread demanding a pick in the 20s or 30s dont understand how fcuked a position we're in right now. We really are a delusional supporter base.
Can you explain to the all of us that are deluded, why were in a fkd position?

And many media outlets think the Amon compo pick will be the trade, probably around pick 27?

Why are we delusional?

If I was trying to get a player from another club on a 4 year, 450-500kpa deal, I'd expect to cough up a mid to late 20s pick.

So if we were low on the ladder - Judd would have gone for a second rounder?? There seems to be a gap in your logic.
My view is that given his age and disposition be are better off long term trading him out for some value.

Bit rich coming from the self confessed "Bigfooty Pessimist"
A pick 40 is no good to us. In that case, we'd be better off as a club using JR as an example and shipping him off to the PSD, probably to Norf.

Line in the sand etc etc

Port have :
Pick 8 and Sydney’s 3rd round pick (51-54)
The Amon compo pick (19 or more likely 27)
All of next years picks

Dunkley has yet to announce his intentions and may yet choose Brisbane anyway. Pick 8 alone would get it done with the possibility of something coming back from the Bulldogs
A 3rd rounder whilst less than ideal could be next year’s 3rd so it retains some use, especially if we bring Fredericks across as part of the deal

If reports about Ports efforts to encourage Rioli to shift are accurate, they’ve put a lot of work in which would include some form of assurance that they are capable of getting a deal done

I expect us to initially ask for more than just the Amon compo or next years 2nd but think that’s where it’ll land - it seems that’s the consensus of what he’s worth in all media I’ve read
