So crazy how Nashville 'needs' a new stadium when the current one is 23 years old.

It's a horrible stadium tbf. Probably the worst in the league apart from Soldier Field which at least has historic reasons.

As a more astute college watcher than me mate who do you think is the best of this batch ? And or most likely be an immediate starter?

I like Stroud and Levis. Thou does depend on who drafts them I think whoever gets drafted by Texans might struggle not most talented team. Colts scare me too with fact Oline is such a mess and qbs just fail there lately due to it.

Levis has all tools (6’3 240 lbs cannon arm) but didn’t put together a great season for Kentucky thou there are reasons for this did lose all his quality o lineman and weapons to draft this pass season. Plus they also lost offensive co-ordinator and o line coach to better jobs. The josh Allen comparisons is more drafting for his tools than what’s on tape just like Allen who didn’t have greatest college numbers.

Young for me is worry especially if he goes high and to the wrong team(Texans, Jets, colts) His just so short and light frame. Listened at a flat 6 foot (reckon his shorter) and 190 pounds (so light). Likely going 1st overall at this point historically short qb drafted this high just spells disaster for me.

TBH I fear that for all rookie QB's as we see so many season after season who show so much promise just get eviscerated in bad environments. It genuinely makes me sad, GG sad almost.

Just on the size thing, it is interesting to think about a bit, Russell Wilson the shortest ever SB winner at 5'11", Len Dawson, Joe Theismann, and Drew Brees next up all at 6ft. So a player like Hurts at a fraction over 6ft has to buck some well entrenched height bias if he's to take the Eagles all the way.

It has to give recruiters pause when they look at someone like Young as at least with a prospect like Hurts, he was a maniac in the weight room.

They make millions of dollars and cue up instagram models so you shouldn't feel sad for them.

I'll clarify. I don't actually feel sad for the individual, I cant stand most people as a general rules so WFT do I care about some guy who's been worshiped most of his life & about to step on to the biggest stage his chosen career can offer. No, it's more about the incompetence of those that player get lumped with. I'm a half a closet Browns fan:grimacing:, that might give you some idea of where I'm coming from. & then there's Essendon but lets not go there...

We can point fingers at this team or that but I suspect they are all guilty of it to some degree. Would Brady be an 1/8th of the player he is without BB & co? Yeah, who knows but sure as shit if he'd ended up at some of these goat f.ucks there's no friggin way.

Everyone does the what if game, but all i know is destiny happens. Everything is what it is. Matt Stafford is a good example I guess....he goes to shit hole Lions org, wastes away for years, what if, well, he ended up at the Rams and won a Super Bowl. So safe to say if he went to a better org, he may have had two or three rings by the time he was 30 yo. Would Trubisky have been a far better QB if he went to the Niners instead? Etc. There would be examples that back that up. Tho Stafford always was a top flight QB at the Lions, he developed quickly and had a long career. Brady would still have been Brady i reckon if he ended up at another org. Probably doesnt see 7 rings, but would've had a fruitful career a la Peyton Manning, a couple rings.

Destiny is a crap shoot bud.
Like Rod Woodson said, if the Steelers and that D had drafted Marino, he wouldve had 7 rings. But he still was the GOAT at Miami. You still end up being who you ended up being imo. Just the rings more or less probably change.

I dont think Brady ends up washed out at another club, I dont think Teubisky ends up a HOFer at another club....those types of things. RG3 wouldve still got injured too soon. Luck would've still retired early. Etc. Brees still ends up a GOAT at San Diego or Miami without Sean Payton. Etc.

Eg, Brady said he was pissed he got passed on by 32 teams seven times. He was always gonna be motivated. Etc.

Hurts is interesting case. As a 2nd rounder he got to sit and learn for abit only started 4 games his rookie year threw less than 150 passes his rookie year. Then throw in eagles with their usually great o line means he had every chance to succeed.

My worry with young is I doubt he gets the same chance to sit and learn and if he gets draft by Texans I think he starts the year and spends it running for his life with only tunstill only good Oline man then add in cooks likely gone who is he throwing too.
Then there is the point about hurts working out does young have the frame to add the weight needed to be able to take punishment qbs take. Plus I feel him being listed at 6 foot might be wrong feel his closer to 5’10 than 6 feet.

An Ivy League degree apparently doesn’t include an understanding that playing linebacker includes a need to ummm look like a linebacker

God bless these absolute clowns 🤡

The Browns built a team to beat the Chiefs and forgot about everyone else

Ill admit, you were spot on about the linebackers from the jump AC, they also ignored defensive tackle. Assuming everyone throws the ball and run stuffers aren't a requirement.

Eagles did the same at LB for several years, it's plain dumb.

I take no pleasure in it

Am angry with growing by the year realization that I am unlikely to see a Super Bowl berth in my lifetime

Change teams like GG :rainbow:

And you wonder why they are the Pittspuke Squeelers??

Long standing tradition of being dirtiest team in the league

;)
